[Historical Background]
The T58 heavy tank was an experimental armored vehicle developed by the United States in the 1950s. As a product of the Cold War era, the T58 had a large body and adopted a unique swaying turret design. Although it was not ultimately mass-produced on a large scale, it holds unique exploratory significance in the history of armored vehicles.
